It has been 3 months I have joined HCL Technologies BPO Services. I will never recommend this company even to my enemy. The way they work is pathetic. We were hired without VnA round. After one week of joining I was put in VnA training of 3 weeks.
I joined this organization with 4 years of experience in an branded international BPO. Every week in VnA training there was a threat by our assessor that we are going to loose our job. We were 12 guys in VnA and 7 of us cleared VnA. Rest of them were kept on hold for another 1 month and suddenly after one month they were given ATL because their communication skills were not good. Why did they hire them and wasted their time?
After again roaming here and there for one week(they not even give paid bench, we have to come every day and punch in and punch out to complete 10 hours otherwise they deduct our salary) we were put in Process Training. In first week of Process Training we were told that Background Verification of 4 of us is not cleared and is still under process.
Then in the second week they asked me to submit photocopy of marksheets of graduation(I have done B.Com from Lucknow University) and it is not clear and they are not able to verify it. How do they accept unclear copy at the time on induction?
Then I submit it again and it was neat and clean copy of marksheets. After process training was completed leaving 4 of us rest of them gave their assessment(that is a mock call taken by Quality Analyst) and went on floor. We roamed here and there for a month and suddenly one day they asked me to give assessment as my verification was cleared. How can someone clear their assessment after being not in touch with the process for a month. I failed.
Then they said they will give us a refresher and they gave me a refresher for one day which was not sufficient and then again I failed. Next day they said that your verification is still not cleared. It sounded like a joke. One day they say that verification is clear and next day they say it is not clear. They after 2 weeks they asked to submit photocopy of marksheets again and I submitted scanned copies of my marksheets and I again started to roam here and there after coming to office and completing my 10 hours.
After 20 days I was asked to meet HR and he told me that my University is responding to verification. It sounded like a joke. How come such a large and old university cannot respond to verification. The next day one of the trainers said that I have to give assessment as my verification was going to be green. I gave my assessment and I fumbled. They took my assessment in such a way that I should fumble. I told the assessor that there has been no proper refresher for past one month and I have been roaming here and there but there was not mercy from his side and he took one of the hardest calls that was possible.
Now it has been 4 months and they registered me on NASSCOM during induction. I can’t leave this organization until and unless they give me ATL. There is no proper management and without proper information your shift is uploaded. One day I checked at midnight that my shift was from 1:30 pm to 11:30 pm the next day I got a call in the morning from transport for pickup. I asked them about the shift and they told it is from 7 am to 5 pm. This is pathetic.
They promised me joining bonus which nobody was aware in the process. Although our process trainer sorted it and help us in getting first installment of the bonus. HR updated name of entire batch but left my name and after 4 or 5 chain mails they updated my name. I would say here management is pathetic and would never recommend this company to anyone.
