If you are going to join HCL Tech. It would be a mix bag for you. You can learn much but wont be able to earn much money. Its a cool...desi lala type of organization. I have spent over 4 years with this company and working there is full of fun with less money.
Important points for freshers:
1.Avoid service desk, monitoring and calling profiles. These profiles will eat your growth.
2.There are lots of girls in the campus ;-)
Important Points for Everybody:
1.Most of times you need to work in night shifts without a shift allowance. If you are with global customers.
2.Don’t even try to think opposite of this ----> Do not ever mess with your manager.
3.Impress, behave well with the managers even if you think they are stupid!
4.Performance wont take you anywhere until you show respect for your manager.
Success Mantra in HCL:
Align yourself with your managers then Align yourself with client requirements then Align yourself with the companies goal.
This is only way you can get good hikes and lots of on site. There is no extra income. What you get is just your CTC.
