HCL is stable company. That is the only pros I can mention.
Lots of cons:
1.Notice period is 3 months (90 days) which is very high and HCL holds salary for 1st month and also 2nd month, if required. Hence, employees has to work without salary for 2 months. My case is pathetic. Client didnt relieve after 3 months also, hence I served extra 10 days notice period. Total 100 days notice period. :(
Salary is too low and it is below market value.
Each employee has to pay half of performance bonus while relieving. It means, if you relieve at 10th month of appraisal period and say your performance bonus is 10000, then you have to pay 10*5000, total 50K to company ( hard earned money).
There is no shift allowance in night shifts and no client allowance. No extra benift apart from CTC.
So, be careful while opting for HCL.
