WORST EVER EXPERIENCE WITH HDFC BANK IN ASBA SERVICES- AHMEDABAD Date: 08.09.2016
Today I had visited HDFC Wholesale Banking Branch around 11.55 am, situated at Tej Enclave, Above Emerald Motors show room for registering ASBA in my SB A/c 00061000116299 A/c Sintex Industries Ltd rights issue.
I have handed over the application to counter clerks. After initial checking & required correction I had given the application around 12.00 PM. I had been asked to wait for acknowledgement slip. I was waiting for acknowledgement slip till 12.40, i.e. 40 minute but as it was not delivered then I had asked other counter clerks in the matter. He has told me that concerned officer is Mr Tarang Sheth, standing near reception talking over mobile and asked me to contact him. When I had asked him about such delay of 40 minute for ASBA registration, he said that it was delayed as I have to sign the application. After my complaint he has asked other officer to acknowledge the application. Even after that Mr Tarang Sheth was busy on his mobile. I was surprised that when he was well aware about his responsibility he was just standing outside, away from his chair/ cabin without worry of other ASBA customers/ application. His reply on delay & behavior is very casual. I am banking with HDFC Bank almost since last 16 years & I had never seen such casual approach of staff which cause insult to customers.
I had a high regards for the HDFC Bank for its quick & perfect service. But today’s experience was worst. I also request you to check the situation by verifying the CCTV footage of 8.09.2016 for 11.55 am to 1.00 pm of your branch reception areas which speaks itself how your staff & Mr Tarang Sheth has behaved. After verification if you find proper, please initiate necessary steps to restore my confidence with the Bank.
