I have been a HDFC Bank customer for the past 4 years. I have a HDFC bank , demat and securities account. I’m a retail investor and do not do very heavy trading. The HDFC securities website is lame and their reporting sucks. I have always wanted a consolidated portforlio based on my activity but I find that I need to manually add it.
Also, their customer service sucks. They have no customer service. I lost my password recently and sent a mail to their customer service e-mail but its been 2 weeks and I have got no response. Their Mumbai customer service number is always busy... This is the second time their customer service is showing such poor service to me. The last time I had to chase them around for my IPO refund and they finally told me to directly talk to Karvy consultants. I guess they dont really care about their securities division.
so, DO NOT go with HDFC Securities for your trading account.
