Account opening had lot of questions and details to be entered. Video KYC failed at first. Second KYC was aweful. Felt like I was interogated for financial crimes.
No proper explanation on account features.
Activation link was broken in email. Had to struggle to activate net banking.
Net banking and mobile app are the worst.
I opted for savings max account but got regular. Called customer care to check same but he rudely declined to confirm and disconnected call.
By far the worst banking experience.
Im customer of ICICI for 16 years and no major complaint. Opened savings account in IDFC FIRST recently and it was a delightful experience. I have SBI account as well and it is not as bad as HDFC.
Regretting to choose HDFC on very first day!
