Avoid HDFC Home Loan if possible.

Am writing this mail to express my deep frustration and dissatisfaction as I am going through immense stress and pain because of HDFC attitude towards its customers. Not only your interest charges are worse than public sector banks even your customer service has deteriorate considerably .


I just called your Pune customer service and talked to Anil P. to inquire why I can’t see Amortization schedule and Pay off balance in my online account. He had absolutely no manners whatsoever to talk to. But unfortunately I cant do anything but sulk sitting here and cursing the day I decided to build relationship with HDFC.


You feel like dying when you are not wrong and very loyal customer and you are paid back with harsh words , poor service and of course ever increasing interest rate because you are trapped with your loan agreement. With very heavy heart I have decided to terminate all my relationship with HDFC including my HDFC bank account, my wife’s account, my father’s account , my dmat account and my hdfc trading account very soon.


I shall start the process very soon and let you know as I go about it. I shall payback my home loan very soon as I feel suffocated every moment of my relation with HDFC it hurts and does affect your health when you come to know after 5 years of relationship you are being charged more than what new home loan customer are being charged.


This is not my first loan from HDFC earlier also I had taken property loan but this time it has been tough and you feel helpless as you can’t do anything and bound by the agreement. I think I have learned my lesson harder way , stick to the good old public sector which my dad always suggested but unfortunately didn’t listen to the word of wisdom and here I am with my burned fingers.


It doesn’t matter if you reply my mail or not because you won’t be able to help me out because I am trapped with the loan agreement and you are dictating the rules. But I can assure you one thing the immense pain I am going through because of HDFC will definitely be sent out as (bad) word of mouth. And I promise myself to terminate all three saving account , trading account, dmat account and pay off home loan very soon.


Thanks a lot for your help and cooperation. I wish, you guys are doomed very soon and this is coming straight from the heart.

PS:: You will get more mail like this every time I feel bad about making the decision to have the relation with HDFC. You can choose to ignore it but I am in too big mental distress not to write to you guys and wish the worst for you
