Over all its really poor quality of service and attitude causes a lot of inconviniece. Please stay away from this bank
Opening an account with the bank was probably the biggest mistake I made. Each and every transaction with HDFC results in multiple visits to the bank, deal with the poor customer service and their painful policies.
HSBC ATMS accenpt correspondence from customers, but oh no not HDFC. I had to personally visit the bank twice before I could get them to cancel the Fixed Deposit and move the money to my savings account.
I had to visit the bank three times on the same day with different documents to have my address updated.
I witnessed a customer yelling at the bank customer care because they would not accept his address as proof for his wifes address. The customer asked the bank guy where he would keep his wife after marriage ;)
Facilities in Bangalore Airport road are poor, with insufficient parking space even for two wheelers.
For any request you are sent from the counter your dealing with to another counter so that your signature can be verified. I had this done to me today by a person called Radhika at the HDFC bangalore branch. WTF Ive not applied for the post of a clerk there to get my signature verified. Thats something they are supposed to do....
Im rectifying my mistake, Im closing my account.....
