I took residential plot loan from HDFC ltd Ahmadabad. Till the application submitted everything was seems good but after once submitted time of disbursement came they started showing their color.
At the time of disbursement they forcibly ask you to buy HDFC life insurance at almost double price of any other insurance company.
I have no other option on last day so I need to buy it.
They confirmed competitive interest rate at the time of application and they sanctioned with competitive interest rate but they started increasing interest rate almost every quarter and within year it increased by 1% even when RBI reduced repo-rate.
Other issue with HDFC ltd is if you need any information like to know balance they will make you wait for some days. I visited 3 branches of HDFC ltd in Ahmedabad but in not a single branch I found co-operative staff.
Relationship manage never talks on phone and provide any detail, even never reply on e-mail. Some for some person they assigns around 50-60km away branch as home branch so for any detail they need to rush there.
You will feel better in any government bank than HDFC ltd support.
I strongly recommend you to consider any other company even it take more paper and more time in sanction.
Note: HDFC ltd follows RPLR which belongs to Non Banking Financial Company(NBFC) so after taking loan interest rates will be increased drastically.
