I have been dealing with this bank for over 7 years and I must admit the fact that this bank is the only bank which assigns all incompetent Relationship Managers, the ones who do not even know why they are employed with this bank. Branch Managers visit my house to convince me to open salary accounts of my company with them but when I need any assistance, they are always unavailable - either on vacation or some meeting. I am sure their meeting is all about getting the customers signed up for new loans, investment products and promoting the HDFC bank applications, payzapp, etc. I am so freaking tired of this bank but unfortunately all my transactions have been stuck here forcing me to stay with them. The representatives and managers DO NOT know whats published on the bank’s website. For eg: I wanted to open an unusual account which their website claims they can service however the branch managers informed they cannot. I visited ICICI and they were prompt and knew what my requirements were. They Started acting on my request immediately and when I informed my HDFC relationship manager, they wanted to pull me towards them and started acting faster. I went ahead with ICICI as I did not want to mess with the new account giving it to an irresponsible bank like HDFC. Till date, I get calls from HDFC’s branch manager begging me to open that account with them as their targets would meet quickly. I just wish this bank shuts its operations and sells it to ICICI or any other bank which knows what Customer Service is. I hate to deal with HDFC, way too selfish and are good at begging in front of their customers.
