I am a current account holder + savings account holder in multiple HDFC branches. not sure why. With my current account at the GKII market branch, I have spoken to the BM, asst. BM and numerous other employees. not only are they cocky, act like they don’t need to talk to you, but they are also shamelessly inefficient and non-responsive. it’s been six months and I still haven’t been able to use my TPT facility. after 3 months of haggling they activated it but alas, I haven’t received the rights to do it.
One employee at the NFC branch actually tells me the NEFT is not permitted by RBI for current accounts! the BM here atleast was helpful. my wife opened a locker at the sunder nagar branch- my relatives are premium customers there and they promised us a 50% discount on locker fees. not only did they charge us the full fee, they also keep saying ’sir ho jayega is hafte pakka!’
These guys are absolutely shameless. I am in the process of shifting my account to Kotak- good bank so far. not fantastic. I’m happy to actually name these people should it be needed by someone.
