She forgot to close her salary account and the bank, without intimating her, changed her salary account into a savings account and started deducting amount under the pretext of minimum balance. She asked the bank to refund the amount, as she did not request the bank to change the status of her account. It was not done and she had to personally visit the bank to close the account.My cousin also has a credit card with the bank and he rarely receives his credit card statement through e-mails. The user interface of the HDFC bank’s website is extremely user-unfriendly. There is not option for auto-payment for the credit cards on the website.
