I have been using HDFC Bank Titanium card for some years and I am generally quite happy with it. Except when I have to call them up and they keep asking questions and dont do your work.
My card was eaten up by an HDFC Bank ATM machine. I put in the credit card instead of the debit card. The PIN was disabled.
When I approached the bank, they first asked me to prove my identity, which is fair enough. I did. Then they asked me to do a transaction on the card. As the PIN was blocked, nothing could be done. So, after wasting a good half an hour or so, they did not give me the credit card back.
The call centre, after asking me a lot of questions, told me to send a written request. I dropped it in their drop box two weeks back. Still nothing has been done. In a away it is good as I am not using the card and piling up debt, but it does show poor service.
Maybe they will issue me a card again. If they dont, maybe it is good riddance.
