I’ve been using HDFC gold card for many years...very helpful, safe and secure. This card is good with average rating of it reward points and its schemes.
The netbanking feature is quite of great help...the customer service is better than average...I called up the call center about many times and I was greeted by polite customer service executives who spoke decent Engish.
The tracking done on high value purchase needs a special mention...Each time I made a high value transaction I was called by HDFC executives to verify the transaction...this would help minimise fraud and misuse in case of card loss...
Also when an online transaction is made, instant updates of transaction are sent via sms thus increasing online security...The verification process at the call centre needs improvement, something like a tele pin...all they ask for is birth date and address which is so easy to crack....
HDFC CC sends the monthly statements via email and post regularly which allows time payments...Other banks offer bill payments free of charge...while HDFC charges a quartely fee for the same...I’m very satisfied with the level of service.
