Hi There , here I am writing a review on a nightmare which I will never forget. I have a salary account in hdfc bank and due to that I received hdfc cc value plus card , my city card. o.k no problem they claim that no service charge will be levied if you purchase petrol from any bpcl pump using mycity card plus you will receive cash back also 1.5 % i took it for granted and started using it , I purchased around Rs5000 petrol from bpcl pump, and to my shock when I received the statement it showed that the service charge was added and I received no cash back , it was really disturbing, I immediately called them and brought into their attention that something was wrong , they said dont worry request will be forwarded to the concerned dept. and the charges will be reversed in next statement that means I have to pay more than what I spend ( see the irony) and cash back also will reflect in nxt statement , I said o.k. , I waited till next staement but again the same problem I callled them again and same reply , now folks its been 3 mths and this mth also I received the statement with the surcharge, I dont know why I am still using this card????? I curse myself that why I used the card, I have other cards also but never I was having problem. I swear that once I get the thibngs right I will never usse this shit card and create unnecessary problem for myself, citibank is beter, icici is good, even I have sbi card also but never I had problem, but this card I tell you, just be very cautious as the customer service is pathetic, they dont give you any complaint no. , after 1 week they will say we never received your call, they are very irresponsible, I will not recommend hdfc bank card to anybody , I will close my salary account also.
