I was wondered at the time of purchasing car insurance by HDFC ERGO. As I had to pay insurance premium yearly in advance and I didn’t know how they would deal at the time of claim. But my worry about them had cleared when I met with an accident and my car was hit by a biker from backside and it broke. I was so worry about the expense of reinstalling the car bumper.
Then I called my agent and told him about the incident. He assisted me and told that it was under policy, and you would need to take a picture of damaged part and send it to his given id. I did the same and got the claim after few days.
