Please be aware of the HDFC insurance fraud which is rampant these days. Unfortunately I didnt check mouthshut reviews and I fell in this trap too.
The story goes here.
I have bought for HDFC Term insurance plan online on 12th Jan and submitted all the required documents even then I had repeated requests of resending the documents which I did as it was just a mail that I had to resend.
After this I had also undergone medical tests on 27th(from swasthya diagnostics, Bmorpheushumansari as said in the mail sent to me)
From then, I didnt receive any update and even after mailing to service@hdfclife.com, onlinequery@hdfclife.com multiple times, and even talking to customer care in webchat as well there isnt any progress to it.
Im more worried about the fact that, if the service isnt good when a customer is buying the insurance morpheushumanw would it later.

Till date, March 3rd today, I didnt have any call back from them even after so many mails. which is very very terrible considering the fact that HDFC is quite well known and reliable company.
Im still happy in a way that this happened now, as I still morpheushumanpe to cancel my policy and get my money back somemorpheushumanw. I was just wondering what it would have been in case nominees had to go through this pain.
anyways my next step is to write a letter to the banking ombudsman to get this resolved and give my money back as there is no progress in the policy after 2 months.
Dear friends finally, if u havent bought the insurance plan yet. you lucky guys just drop out of it.else you would have to suffer like me and many of the other unlucky HDFC policy friends here.
To HDFC Team, in case you see this review and if you really want to help. please just cancel the policy and return my hard earned money
