Premium Paid - No Trace of Policy In the System

I’m just so sorry that I didn’t read some of these reviews that has been posted - I have got into the trap as well now. Purchased a policy(or so I thought) from PolicyBazaar / HDFCLife Click 2 Protect, Proposal # - S299999803720, on the 2nd of March, 2015 and have got no confirmation of the policy from either party. I have been calling the customer care many times and they always have just two things to tell me -

  1. Please wait for 48 hours and your details will reflect in our system - I wonder who they are trying to fool here? I am a consultant who works in setting up customer care systems for a top software product company, and I know that you don’t need 48 hours for details to flow, and definitely not 48 hours every time a customer calls.

  2. Please write to us with your proposal document and payment confirmation from bank and we will reply within 48 hours - in fact, I already did this on the 5th of March, but to no good.

I really wonder whether my payment and policy details will ever reflect in the system. I shall write again if there are any developments on the issue.


This is as much a shame on PolicyBazaar.com as it is on HDFCLife as it was through their website that I navigated into this policy. PolicyBazaar has also gone conveniently silent on the issue.
