Very Bad experience with HDFC Life

Few days back I approached HDFC life for term plan, gone ahead with online booking and paid the amount. It was told to me that I have to undergo medical test hence I requested to give me appointment on Sunday. Accordingly HDFC life team fixed my appointment at Suburban Dignostics at vashi sector-19 on 3rd May 2015(Sunday) at 9:30 am. As per requirement, I was visited medical center with 12 hrs fasting.


After reaching, receptionist at medical center informed me that they do not conduct test on Sunday. Wow…boom it’s like surprise gift however not as per expectation.


What to do next…ok…then I called HDFC Life toll free no. 18002660315 for solution. Guess… what I could get there. Only sorry and nothing else. Even I gave a solution that please provide me address of nearby medical center since I was ready for the test with more than 12 hrs fasting. It was told to me that they will call me within 10-15 minutes. Thought lets see… No call received even after 35 minutes passed… then I again called and asked for solution. Again the same answer sorry. It was informed me that to fix a new appointment for test, it requires 5-6 working days. What the I was stunned after listening this and had a doubt whether I am in 21 century or not on earth. Nobody was available to take decision about the further course of action……and customer that’s me is waiting at wrong medical center due to mistake of HDFC life with more than 12 hrs fasting, no tea, no breakfast, traveled from Airoli to Vashi of half hour journey.


Nobody is available at HDFC Life toll free no. 18002660315 is able to take decision about instant service to customer who is suffering bcoz of their mistake. Wow…great … what a customer satisfaction approach.


I gave suggestion to help line center that please do not punish that person who has given me wrong appointment however train her to a required level so that she can provide better service to customer.


I fear that due to such service HDFC Life may lose new customers and also present customer may lose their trust on HDFC Life.
