Scrub a dub dub for very clean squeaky hair is my motto. The shampoo market is littered with many top quality products. If your girly then (in best Divid Ginola accent) ’because I’m worth it’ Loreal is probaly your kind of thing. Kid even have the glamourised Johnsons no more tears range with very succelent apple smelling shampoos.
I previously had used Pantene pro v with conditioner as it left my hair very soft and had a nice tangy smell to it which stayed on without disappering the next day. That is until I discovered, well maybe not discovered but decided to try it, Head & Shoulders. H&S did something that my trusty Pantene didn’t do it actually made my hair feel cleaner with a louder squeak effect after cleaning.
With Pantene although it left my hair nice and soft it would feel very greasy again as soon as I went out, even with multiple lathers. With H&S the feeling of greasiness was eradicated until the next night when I would wash again anyways.
I’m not going to bore you with the ingredients as this is a op not a fact telling extravaganza so for you interested freaks out there I suggest you read the packaging. Which leads me on nicely to the packaging side of the Procter & Gamble product. Head & Shoulders is packaged in a white shampoo bottle, in either a small, medium or large size. The design is a cool blue streak with coll writing on it. Not overly impressive but you hardly buy shampoo for the packaging, its the contents that count.
More on the actual product itself, as I said wih some lathering and rinsing Head & Shoulders will leave your hair squeaky clean. The smell of the product is not as vibrant as Pantene but its still a refreshing and clean fragrant. After washing and rinsing your hair will sometimes feel a bit dry even though the shampoo has a conditioner as a 2in1 combo. Thats the only quibble I have with Head & Shoulders, it could leave the hair soft like Pantene, but instead it feels kind of wirery and stiff. The shampoo is also good for dandruff sufferers, so thats a plus, the menthol fragrant is very strong and nice as well, so be on the lookout of the variety you have at your disposal.
However don’t let that put you off as Head & Shoulders will leave you satisfied.
