I am a member of MS since three days only. I have read many reviews that interested me. I am basically a spiritual person. hence set my eyes on this spiritual site. But I presume that HEARTLIGHT is meant only for christians.
WELL! I am not a christian. I am only a friend of yours who wishes to share some facts of life.The fact is as it is ’’easier said than done’’, not all of us can be calm and serene, when we are all living in this gruelling atmosphere.This small write up might throw light on your heart and you will emerge more stronger.
CALMNESS OF MIND is one of the beautiful jewels of WISDOM.It is the result of long and patient effort in self control. A man becomes calm in the measure that he understands himself as a thought-evolved being, for such knowledge necessitates the understanding of others as the result of thought.And as he develops the right understanding, and sees more and more clearly, the internal relation of things by the action of cause and effect, he ceases to fuss and fume and worry and grieve, and remain poised, steadfast, serene.
The CALM man , having learned how to govern himself, knows how to adapt himself to others.and they , in turn, revere his spiritual strength, and feel that they can learn from him and rely upon him.The more the tranquil a man becomes, the greater is his success, his influence, his power for good.
Even the ordinary business man will find his business prosperity increases as he develops a greater self control and equanimity, for people always prefer to deal with a man whose behaviour is strongly serene. The strong calm man is always loved and revered. He is like a shade giving tree in a thirsty land.
Who does not love a tranquil heart , a sweet tempered, balanced life? The exquisite poise of character which we call, serenity, is the last lesson of culture. It is the flowering of the life, fruitage of the soul.It is precious as wisdom, more to be desired than gold. How insignificant money seeking looks in comparison with a serene life-a life that dwells in the ocean of truth.
