I am picking the best song from EACH of all the 13 studio albums..
1) Iron Maiden
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA - rating 9.9/10
Without second thoughts, this is the song that comes to my mind. People say that the production is lousy... I really dont care as long as u play me such a killer track which has masterpiece written all over it. Dave’s flamboyance and steve’s master brain just fits in the song.
2)Killers
GENGHIS KHAN - rating 9.8/10
(u may tell it has to be wrathchild - well, I was about to go with wrathchild ... its just the hour - u never know in metal music - which song u will really be in the mood for at what point of time.. I hope u people understand me)
There is an excellent excellent time change in the end of this 3 min odd classic
4)Piece of mind - Ooooops!.. did I miss out on some album? Yes.. I will come to that album a little later and I will tell u then..
REVELATIONS - rating 9.9/10
Again.. u disagree???? Y is it not trooper????? Well I say.. I like both of them equally and dearly.. but this one just edges especially when I hear it live.. and after every riff I can hear the croud scream their lungs out. Dickinson’s first written work did really go a long long way.
5)Powerslave
ACES HIGH - rating 9.9/10
I love the start - Air raid siren - Bruce - has dont it again. Amazing solos.. I love the bass in this song .. its very distinctly heard. Steve has put finger to this song really really well! Its again a SH (Steve harris) classic.
6)Somewhere in time
WASTED YEARS - rating 9.9/10
Wow.. Starting - E String.. Just one string.. what a genius - Adrain.!!!!! U rock dude.
I am sure he loves the E string a lot. Pretty cool lyrics .. again the credit goes to adrian for solo writing the song. And again a solid lead in the end.
7) Seventh Son of a Seventh son
SEVENTH SON OF A SEVENTH SON - rating - 9.9/10
MASTERPIECE - I wont even explain myself. All u maiden fans know that this has to go down as the highest point in maiden history.
This masterpiece should be played more frequently than any other song.
8) No Prayer for the dying
BRING YOUR DAUGHTER TO SLAUGHTER - rating 9/10
hmmm.. I said in the beginning.. it s the best in each album. This song would have never made it to the maiden’s best.. Thats all I have got to say on this song
9) Fear of the dark
FEAR OF THE DARK - Rating 9.9/10
Well.. Its a SH trademark.
Sing along song.. Melodious singing.. and Hell breaks out! A song wherein u will completely dehydrate by screaming ur throats out!. What a song!
10) X Factor
SIGN OF THE CROSS - rating 9.9/10
Make no mistake - I LOOOOOOOOOVE this song!

THE CLANSMAN - Rating 9.5/10
Hmmm.. I dont like the bass change in the start. But in the middle section it gains momentum.. . Freeeeeeeeedom! A damn good song. Again this song wouldnt make into my best of maiden.

BLOOD BROTHERS - Rating 9.9/10
This was written by Steve during a tour when his father passed away.. And hence u find a line ’’just for a second a glimpse of my father I see’’... Amazing https://lyrics..
I feel that this song has got the BEST of maiden lyrics!
13) Dance of Death
NO MORE LIES - Rating 9.9/10
Again Steve solo writes it.
Especially during 3:39 into the song - the riff changes pattern and probably the best b-section in maiden for a long time. This followed by triple individual leads by dave , adrian and janick. AMAZING SONG!
