Heineken (yes it is spelled wrong on this site) is one of the best selling imported beers in the U.S.A and it is known all over the world. Heineken is from Holland.
Heineken is in my opinion, one of the worst expensive beers made. I grant you it is slightly better than the Meiser Brau’s and Piels of the world, but Heineken smells like skunky beer and tastes like skunk sweat. For a comparable taste try the American brand Rolling Rock. They do well here in America, most likely due to the massive ad campaigns and movie tie-ins they employ.
Their commercials are pretty good actually. The product has been seen in the ’’Austin Powers’’ movies and also in James Bond, there has been tons more. Heineken used to taste pretty good years ago, but then something happened and now the beer always tastes old.
Again if you like skunky, expensive beer try a Heineken. Chances are you wont like it either.
