Are you planning to buy Hero Duet then you should read this, this review is from my personal experience using Hero Duet for the last 6 months now, In the last 6 months I have visited the service center 5 times which is very bad,
First, lets talk about the Mileage- If you are not worried about the hike in petrol then you are good to buy this vehicle, but if you are concerned about Milage then this is not recommended for you. Most of the recent 110cc scooter would give you a bare minimum of 40kmph/lt. After driving efficiently as per the recommended standards it gives 25kmph which is bad( while a kwid gives you a 20kmph/lt).
In terms of comfort if you are planning for a drive more than 50km I would recommend you to visit the doctor as soon as you come back. the seat is inclined in such a way that you will not feel much comfortable.
Off service when you drive the vehicle I felt it reliable when I go out with my family. this is got an upper hand for Duet.
I feel the wheel dia for Duet should be more to handle Indian road while the manufacturers and retailer claim that they have an Integrated braking system yet it fails. this was my second injury happened to me in years just because the brake didn’t perform the job.
And last but not the least if you are a person looking for a great customer service or at least a response then Hero is a bad choice, However, I would honestly say not every showroom and service center are same, But on an average its a big No.
One last thing to say that the wiring is open for Intruders like Rats to easily damage the wires. I am not sure if its a common problem just wondering why would it not covered and protected, I would recommend Hero R&D development team to work on this.
Its been just 6 months with the vehicle and I felt I made one bad move buying this vehicle. Again it’s my personal experience with the vehicle but Milage, Roadgrip and customer service is something which you will have it in common.
