Ambition - a male bike for sure!!!

Title : AMBITION - a male bike

Hi There,

I wanted to buy a Pulsar but due to family pressure (hype created by advertisements) finally agreed to go for Splendor + (Ltd. Edition). One of my friend Weight 89 Kg) owns Splendor and if I (weight 83 Kg) sit with him the engine starts knocking even in 3rd gear. This is the main reason I kept avoided it for so long. I waited till 10 days and the dealer could not supply me the Splendor + Limited Edition. I got an readymade excuse and finally settled with Ambition 135. Actually I never wanted to go for a clerk and primary school teacher’s brand.

Again waited for one more day and finally in the evening my brand-new Ambition 135 (black) arrived in the showroom (18-Nov-2004). Looks of the new Ambition 135 are 1000% better than the previous version.

I got the drum version for Rs.43, 890 (showroom), some 3 - 4 k higher than Splendor, which I think is a good price. Surprisingly the elctronics are excellent quality for an HH vehicle. Pick-up and breaks (drum) are wonderful, as good as pulsar 150. It get an average mileage of around 50-55 kmpl which reasonable for such an powerful machine.

When I went for the first service the engineer informed me that it uses the CBZ engine which is very powerful and trouble free. On the whole it is a good bike. It seems that so far HH are interested only in selling Splendors. A proper publicity should give this good vehicle a proper boost.
