I bought hero xtreme bike in 2009 for 82000. It gives an average mileage of 46. The bike look is not so good when compared to the bikes of same category from the other brands like bajaj pulsar. It has a good pickup and gives you good experience. The body of the bike is not very rigid and the side domes are of cheap quality. It has a good look from the back side but from the front it has a bad look. The bike is not a good choice if you handle it roughly. It don’t has any outstanding feature over the sports look bikes of other brands. The Hero Xtreme can be treated as a failure from the Hero motor corp.If you invest some more amount for your bike, then you will get much more good bikes like bajaj pulsar 150 or tvs apache rtr. My bike didn’t give me much thrill that I expected at the time of buying it. So, I advice you go for other sports look bike instead of Hero Xtreme as it don’t have any special features for you.
