I have been using this bike for two years now and contrary to other user’s opinions my opinion is that though this bike has many flaws, economy is not amongst them. Don’t doubt this - this bike was meant to provide economy and nothing much else. Regarding the maintenance you will not have to spend anything if only you keep changing the oil and drive gently at about 50 Km/h AT this speed it gives an economy of about 70 Kmpl and zero maintenance costs. Be gentle on this bike and it will be economical but drive roughly and you will find that it tends to break down regularly as it is a very delicate bike. The riding posture is very cramped. And tall guys look very stupid on this bike. I mean I am 6 feet tall and I have to bend way down to grasp the handle bar. The brakes tend to wear down quickly after heavy usage and the headlight truly is a misery. The ride is very rough with little or no comfort.
