I am from bhubaneswar. I bought a new hh glamour(alloy, drum, self) from local dealer on 24th june 2010. it cost me 53069/- on road. the looks r very nice. it is the most comfortabe bikefrom hh(in my opinion) not even my bro’s cbz xtreme gives me such comfort. handeling is awesome. you can go like a snake in the city traffic. the self start is very reliable and starts with just a simple touch. the engine sound is very good. the pick up (9bhp) is not so bad.it does not have heassels at any speed.the pillion seat is higher just as seen in xtreme. so if u travel wid ur wife or girlfriend, then must go for this beauty. the headlite is awesome, the seat is making a sound when I go on humps. but the mechanic has rectified it on the first servicing. I have seen some guys complaining low mileage, but I do not agree with them. its mileage is not so bad, when I rode it 1st on the bhubneswar traffic , it gave me 50- 52(kmpl). and I took it to my village, it gave me 55. After 1st srvicing it gave me 55 in city. when(after servicing) I went bhubneswar to cuttack(23kms) I kept my speed within 45-50 kmph and I surprisingly got a mileage of 60kmpl. and the mechanic has said that mileage will improve by 5-10kmpl after the 3rd or 4th servicing. so why should not any one go for this byk with more comfort and mileage. I agree that the gear shifting frm 1st- 2nd is a bit tough and hard. but that’s not a mazor problem. the another problem I find that is a TICK- TICK-TICK - TICK sound coming from the engine with the rythem of the engine sound. the mechanicsaid that he will cut the problem out when the sound will be a bit louder, but I am afraid , do u think the sound is normal? plz. help. I will edit the review and submit again after the 4th sevicing. but plz. help me with my problem.
