I read many posts in mouthshut.com and other sites before purchasing my first bike. So I want to post my own experience on Hero Glamour 125CC to benefit for others. I bought this bike in July 2012 unexpectedly without prior planning/research on glamour based on my dealer (relative) recommendation. Actually I went to purchase Hero Splendor pro but came out with Glamour. Now I feel I made a right decision.
I am posting this review after 7, 500+ Kms ride experience. I daily commute to office most of the drive on highways and 2-3 kms ride in city traffic. I like the Mileage, looks, control and pickup. What I don’t like is Gear shifting is not smooth especially to and from 2nd gear. This gave me a mileage up to 69Kmpl on economy speed on highways after second service.This is truly value for money. Control of bike is good even when I touch the speed 8-0kmph.
Good for those who expects good mileage, looks and good for family persons. Head lights should be improved, not great especially on highways.
