In 2005 the bug of strong desire to buy a bike bit me. I was very confused which bike to buy between bajaj calibre, discover, ct 100, star city, HH glamour, Honda unicorn. It took me one month to decide, finally I purchased HH Glamour on 6.10.2005 (navratra time). Because discover not suitable for me, little low, caliber was discontinued. As I was learner so left 150 cc unicorn. My needle struck on glamour. I liked the look of bike. I leanrd to ride bike on my glamour.
After a week of drill in campus, finally I drove it to main road to my office. Initially its gear were little hard but now it’s smooth. As far as mileage is concerned initially I got 45-50 KMPL and after first service I am getting 50-52 kmpl in city conditions. braking and handling is good. I get it serviced in every three months. Recently we, me & my friend went for a long ride to hills. Both we drove the bike on highways, hills, kachi roads. On highway I touched the maximum speed of it 95 KMPH.
I felt the lack of 5th gear & disk break version at highways. Its shockers are good, the road between rampur to rudrapur is full of potholes, many times I could not control on my speed and bumped over potholes. But not fell down. It is comfortable for long journeys but seat is not much cushioned. At hills it was pulling on 2nd, 3rd gear sometimes on steep climbs we had to put on 1st gear.(Load - two mustande + bag) Overall we done the journey of 900 kms through hills, highway, kachi road and never faced any problem, not even a flat tire. At the end I would like to say that it is a good bike for who are looking 125 cc bike not too powerful, not too dull.
