A reliable and Powerful bike - After 13000kms

Basic Information prior to detailed review:

Total KMs: 13000 on 19/11/2010

Duration: 1 Year 2 Months

Highest Speed I drive at: 90km/h

Let me start with my review as a fully satisfied owner of Hero Honda Hunk. Actually, after doing so much of market research based on criteria like power, mileage, high way riding comfort and reliability I made my decision to buy CBZ Extreme; but when I visited the showroom my dad suggest me to buy Hunk. Fortunately I agreed with my dad considering the same power heart as CBZ.

I would like to mention one very important thing as part of this review, that, from the day I bought Hunk I never filled regular fuel into it. Means, I always fill Power or Speed high octane petrol in my Hunk. Next thing, I change the Engine Oil (Castrol Power1) at every 1200 kms.

From the 12000 kms of my total drive on Hunk, I did drive almost 6000 kms on highways, as I’m just crazy for cruising.

Advantages of buying Hunk:

More power compare to other bikes in same class - 14.4ps - Yamaha FZ, Suzuki, Honda Unicorn have lesser power than Hunk.

Next, the price. Hunk is the most cost effective bike in the class, it cost me 64000 on road.

The only issue I found is the sound that come from front disc break don’t get resolve even after 7 genuine services.

Next, the gear shifting get smooth after 6-7000 kms

According to me, Hero Honda hunk is the most reliable, powerful and comfortable bike which is also fuel efficient on the other hand. My Bike still give me 50-52 city and upto 55 kmpl on highway milege.

I personally assure and recommend this bike as I’m almost crazy about bikes and hence I’ve tested all the bikes including R15 and P220, but the real fuel efficient and powerful thing is none other than HH Hunk.

Few recommendation from my side:

Maintenance is the most important thing when you want reliability from your bike.

Speed is made for smooth highways and not for city streets.

Don’t push your bike’s maximum speed limits.

Use genuine parts for your bike.

Don’t be engineer yourself and do experiment with your bike performance by adding useless exhaust or bigger rear wheel sprockets.

And finally, Ride safely....

Thank you.
