I used to drive a pulsar 150CC digital and bought the right first day it was launched. And after 1and a half year I was fed up with the bike and needed a change I tried quiet a few bikes like R15, YZ16, Apache RTR ETC. But this karizma really really pulled me to it specially the red colored mag wheels it looks brilliant
And coming to the specification. Its a 223 CC and which can go upto 130 kmph/h which is a great speed for indian roads and 17bhp its got good acceleration power and thrust and torque. Even though the RPM is reduced form 9000 to 7000 from the old karizma to the new r karizma. There is not much difference
And the rear tyre is been made a little bit bigger compared to the older one to reduce miss handling or bad handling and the long handle bars which gives you more control and confidence to drive is a brilliant design
Karizma to be frank is a awesome bike when ur looking at the bike its got its class of its own. The mileage may be a drawback for it but 35 kmpl/h with good maintaince is not bad according to me. Let me mention I am talking about the new karizma r and not the old one which had a mileage of 20 to 25 kmpl/h
And comfort is very good the leg position helps u go on long drives with out any problem and the huge wheels reduces the traction on the roads and gives you a smooth ride in return and the long handles and the suspension in front its a telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers which gives to go curves and the rear suspension which is a Swing Arm with 5 Step Adjustable Type Hydraulic Shock Absorbers for good accelaration and movement and go turning base and the wheel base is 1355.00 mm which is a brilliant size for comfort.
And the reliability factor which is supposed to be the main factor in a bike. Which is ultimately good compared to the other fast bikes non indian make but on indian roads. Karizma fares best and the engine is less maintenance and the clutch which is multiplate wet type which gives to smooth change in gears and 5 speed gear box. And the chassis which is a light weight which is only 150 kilo’s which gives u a good mileage and the ground clearance is 150.00 mm which lets u do a bit of off road
And this may sound funny but its got a clock which I think is making a small contribution in ur driving concentration.
Last but not the least its indian it may sound greek which refers to a rare trait found in certain human personalities usually including extreme charm and a ’magnetic’ quality of personality and/or appearance along with innate and powerfully sophisticated personal communicability and persuasiveness.
