*This is Abhinandan, I have a karizma ZMR Oct. 2009 model. 2nd in INDIA not First my bad luck. More then 2 years and running more then 43, 000kms. Lots of long journeys and Many more to come. People asked me, "Dont you feel tired from long drives". and some time surprised "aray itni door bike se?" or "ek din main tum Gurgaon se Ambala jakar vapas gurgaon aan gaye??"
People think I am a bike freak. but thats true Behind every succesful biker there is a succesful Bike. You Might not feel interested or getting bore with my stories with ZMR. because you are looking for Pros and cons of the bike.*
*But this review is not about Pros and cons, its about love of the rider and ride from last 2 years. I feel proud when I ride on it. People looks at me with respect. either in the parking or on the Red light. They keep on watching you. I remember the day I bought it. It was the 2nd bike in India. and after few days the Production was on halt because of some problems.
And continuous for 3 months. I enjoyed that monopoly time. very limited bikes, and you have one of them. people are looking at you. and start chasing you to look at your bike. Oh My God feel so special.*
This bike is awsome. It will not let you feel tired and even not feel tired. I had driven it continuous 340 km in one go and 700km in one day. and wonderfully it done it again same on after few days. and I had taken these long journeys after completing 30, 000km. Now its clocked above 43K, I Wonder always when it is doing its job wonderfully.
You will enjoy it and get addicted of it as its a drug. Because it gives you respect and you enjoy it.
I am a ZMR addicted, There is nothing wrong in getting addicted, but sometime it gives pain to your A#$..You know what I mean some time it feels in your A#$ after having long rides. and it feels like when your seats getting heated up in the sun heat and you sit on it ..Here comes the pain. you have to enjoy that to. I enjoyed it tooo.
Overall experience I have after running 43, 000km, it stills capable to reach at 124km/h tested 4 days ago, and manage to give Mileage of 37kmpl at the speed of 90km/h. But a Drastic figure of mileage in the city which is around 27-30km/l. its only when you drive it like a 100cc bike. If you wanna drive it rough it will bring you the petrol pump after every 20km. If Petrol pump is away from your home then drive it carefully, Its so much embarrassing to hook a bike like this.
And The guys whom are looking for Top speed and Acceleration. I feel reaching at 100km/h in indian road its enough and safe as well beyond 100km/h is risky specially in India. and acceleration none of the indian bike till date except honda CBR and upcoming P200ns and Ktm duke 200. wont able to beat my Zmr in 0-90km/h. Its faster then Stock r15, apache and p220 in 0-90 figure in books as well as in real.
