I’ve bought this on July 7 2010.
It is really indeed a great last one year. I had covered 9000kms till now. I’ve not used for almost 3months in this one year.
To go on this bike is really a great feeling. Though everyone looks at this beast, and at traffic signals most people ask what mileage you get. Riding this bike really excites me.
I would suggest to this bike if you can put 1+lakh, you don’t feel anything bad once you buy this. But remember every showroom will have only one(sometimes two) technician to service your vehicle. But in last one year, I visited the service centers only for my servicing. I did not have any problems as of now. In Hyderabad, I get around 35-38kmpl, which is not at all bad. Some people who I met at the service center informed that they would get b/w 40-42kmpl.
As these sports bikes don’t have safety guards, when the bike fells on one side and if there are any scratches, remember you need to shell out Rs3000 for one side. So it is better to opt for the insurance of the plastic to 100%, though the premium would vary another Rs200 from your regular insurance, you definitely need to opt for the insurance which covers for almost 100%(most of the insurance companies cover only 50% for plastic parts).
