I stay in Ahmedabad, just brought a Hero Honda pleasure for my wife, infact I gifted it on her birthday. I selected a dual tone color (Black with light purple) they have some really good colors available. it was hard deciding between Pleasure & Activa, since you see very few of them on Ahmedabad roads compared to the increasing count of Activas. But finally after reading all the rave reviews on mouthshut and having a test ride at the Hero Honda (Just 4 Her) showroom at CG Rd I decided to go with my gut feeling.
I’ve driven the pleasure a few times, and I tell you it feels extremely light on weight. The pickup is a bit on the slower side initially, but as you accelerate it gains quickly in speed. The styling is really good compared to Activa & Scooty Pep the Pleasure is a real winner as far as looks go.
My only worry is the fibre glass body, it seems a bit delicate .The handling and braking is extremely good, the boot space space below the seat is also quite good. The 4S engine from Hero Honda can definitely compare with Activa, although the Activa generates a good initial pickup, but then it feels really heavy to ride and can be bit difficult to handle for ladies in city traffic conditions. The Pleasure comes with Tuff up tyres that are supposed to be puncture resistant.
All in All the pleasure seems to be a good buy, specially for girls as it feels light & zippy and easy to handle, I cannot comment on the average as its too early. may be I can get a view for some other members.
