Hi this is sanil again. Today I thought that I will share my life with splendor.As every one know , day by day new models are releasing in the market. It is a fact that a lot of peoples get stuck in the middle of the road thinking about, should I go here or there. I know it is worthless if we compare this bike with those avaliable in the market now. Only comparsion can be made with its own class.There is only one company that ruled bikes that is herohonda. The Bike which gave them this much power in the industry is splendor.No one would have ever imagined that this bike will remain everyones heart this much. Even though there are this much bike avalible in the market I know many peoples go to take splendor because of many things. I will try to include all the facts about this bike and more
It has been a long 6 years seeing this bike in my home .The bike looks cool.Like most of the models that we see around today it comes so many good features. All the neccessary things that bike should have is included in the bike. The bike is exellent in both safety and performance.The bike I own is black and it very cool now also. After 6 years journey still when it comes out from the services it looks brand new. I think it is one good feature of this bike. It is not very hard to keep it in good shape.
When we talk about splender the thing that comes to our mind is nothing but the mileage.If u buy splendor then one thing is sure that u will get minimum mileage of 55. I have drove it in the most tough condition where I use the clutch very frequently and brakes etc I thought the this time my mileage is gone. U won’t believe it gave me 56 kmpl.The bike tank capacity is 10.5 litres and if u are city rider then u won’t have to think of full tank. if u fill 1 litres then sure 60 km.. Till now iam getting 60-62 mileage in this. Even after this much years the bike has never shown any kind of drop in its mileage.
When we talk about the lights. it is ok. it is not much hard to ride in lights.Brakes are doing its job well.Unless there is some problem the bike will brake at the right spot with less skiding.Normal pickup. For those who want to turn the road upside down then never think of this bike. If they some how happens to buy this bike then sure they will say the bike has this problem the power is not good etc....
There are many authurised service station and they do there job well.Mantainance is another factor we have to point out. In the 6 years there was not a single incident that wanted me to buy some spare parts. Usually problem like tyre puncher, light gone etc. thats it . no other headache.However the other problem I felt was I have often faced oil leak from the front shocks.The back suspension is good it is designed in such a way that u will get less back pain. The bike is excellent for long trips also, I forgot to mention that. In our sorts of condition if we use bike for long trip then backpain sure. But I have used for more than 5 long trips and the bike never gave me pain if iam in the back or when iam driving.
Overall if someone is interested in a bike tht will gives mileage, performance then sure it should be splendor. I heard that the splendor plus comes with more features like mutireflection headlights, new indicators etc. Ooops I forgot to say the most important feature of this bike that no other bike have till now . There are many peoples who sell there bike so tht they can get a new one . Splendor gives u the most second hand price. I know one of my friends sold his splendor around 22k -25k. Is that great ?. The bike value is great. besides from the manufacturing defects once u got the bike there will not a problem.
