All Hero bikes are basically modifications of splendor. This’s Hero’s most powerful bike, but since it’s basically taken from splendor and they’ve somehow managed to fit a big engine in it, it has issues like vibrations and bad reliability.
This bike is intended to run only at 40 - 50kmph(like splendor), beyond which you’ll get issues like -
fuel injector going bad
vibrations
loose fairing
premature piston/cylinder wear at 25K kms(even when using synthetic engine oil)
head gasket leak
etc.
Because this bike is basically a splendour, the service centre guys use Splendor engine oil which breaks down within 400Kms and feels like water afterwards.
The fancy digital instrument cluster is very less researched upon. The tachometer has been given no significance, and during the afternoon, the sun’s reflections makes it impossible to read the RPM readings from the traco.
Because of the bad sales, it’s impossible to obtain spares from their service centre.
On the positive side this was the cheapest sport bike in the market.
