My dad bought the new Maestro Edge this year in the January and both him and I are not satisfied with its performance. First of all, we were told that it provides a mileage of 60kmpl on highway and about 50-55 in the city but I have never obtained an average of more than 45 and that too on the highway. In the city it drops to 40kmpl.
It’s pickup is also not good. It takes too much time to attain speed. The most annoying thing is that it makes a loud noise when its picking speed. I went to the service station more than once regarding the same problem but the problem still persists.
The only good point is its comfort. The seats are much wide compared to the other 2 wheeler bikes. The features are also good. The fuel trunk is on the back so you dont have to get up for refueling.
I would not recommend you to buy this vehicle. You might wanna consider other options such as Activa or TVS Jupiter.
