Hero MotoCorp has revealed the price of its new bike Xtreme 200R. The company has priced this new bike for Rs 88, 000 ( ex-showroom) . This bike was first shown in the Concept Form at the Auto Expo in 2016. After this, the company had shown it in January with all the specifications. Even then its price was not even mentioned.
Now this bike has been listed on the company's website with a new price. According to the website, this new price has been kept for eight north-eastern states. This includes Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland and West Bengal. The price of this bike in the Indian market is much lower than the 200cc second bikes.
It will compete in the market with the TVs like TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS200. The initial price of Apache RTR 200 4V in India is 1.03 lakh rupees, while the price of Pulsar NS200 starts at Rs. 1 lakh in the Indian market. In this case, this bike will prove very economical in the 200cc segment in the market. No information has been given about the time the delivery will start.
This bike has a 200cc single cylinder air-cooled engine. This engine has been connected with 5 speed gearbox for transmission. These engines will generate a power of 18.4bhp and a pickup torque of 17Nm. According to the company's claim, the top speed of this bike is 114 kilometers per hour. These bikes will take only 4.6 seconds to catch speeds of 0 to 60 per hour.
Talking about the features, this bike has been equipped with LED DRLs, LED taillamps, digital instrument consoles and alloy wheels. While preparing the bike, its performance and braking have been specially taken care of. In the front part of the Xtreme 200R, the monoscope suspension is given in the telescopic suspension and the rear section. At the same time, the company has given ABS in addition to disc brakes on both wheels of this bike. These bikes to customers will be available in 5 color options.
