The Truth Really is Liberating!

"He’s Just Not That Into You" is a straightforward, hilarious, sassy and modern book written by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo - both of whom are writers and consultants of "Sex and the City". It really is a "no-excuses truth to understanding guys". Guys really aren’t that complicated, and this book will tell you how.

The book tells you about how guys really are straightforward, but they’d like you to think of them as complicated beings. They really ARE driven by sex, although they like to pretend otherwise. And that they’d rather lose a arm out a city bus window than simply tell a woman "You’re not the one for me". But the truth is, even if they’re not really telling you, they’re showing you. And its about time we read the signals for what they really are.

Picture this: A guy who you really like tells you "I’ll call you" but then its been a week and he hasn’t. What do you do? You say to yourself "Ah well, maybe he’s busy... He does have a hot-shot job, you know." And now think of yourself in the guy’s position. If you really like this woman and you tell her that you’ll call her, will you keep her waiting for a week? Even if you have a hot-shot job? No! So then what does that tell you? The guy just isn’t into you enough to even call you! This is the one thing we like to ignore the most. Even if this happens to be the truth, we never want to believe it. Our minds go into hyperactive excuse-making mode - "maybe he’s lost my number" "maybe he had to go to China for an emergency" and so on... You know the drill. While there is a remote possibility that that may have actually happened, you can save yourself a lot of pain by just accepting that he’s just not that into you, and move on!

It is really liberating to think of things this way. It saves you a lot of time and money if you just accept that he’s not into you. That way you can save yourself for the guy who really is into you instead of wasting yourself on someone who isnt.

Greg and Liz take real life situations and use stats and research findings to further back up thier work. The book is also roll-on-the-floor hilarious. Its funny how we know all these things, deep down, but we don’t ever want to believe them. This book shows you reality - however hard that is, and gets you right back down to earth instantly!

So if you find yourself stuck in situations where you make excuses for guys when they don’t treat you as well as you deserve to be treated, this book is for you. It constantly reminds you that you DO deserve royal treatment and there ARE guys who are willing to give that to you, so don’t settle for anything less!
