I bought a HP laptop from Dubai Airport in May 2005. the laptop started giving trouble in Aug 2005 as it will nevr shut down and starts on its own. I sent the laptop to HP workshop and the same got repaired. In Aug 2006 the laptop again started giving similar problem and whn I approached HP.
I was told that its out of warranty. I fail to understand how can a product of such repute company fails within 3 months of purchase and is it not a responsibility fo HP to consider my warranty from the repair date rather than purchase date as it was an occurence of the same problem. I tried to chase lot of people in HP head office in India but the country refused to come on line. I know atleast three of my friends who is facing similar problem with HP laptop. the service quality of HP is just bad and they need money for everything even to assess fault of their own product.
Hopeless service and product.
