Being a bong, this is one place I’ve always been equally excited on each opportunity to visit this place. Although this place is a little too far from my place, the travel is worth it.
It’s difficult to find good places to have some authentic Bengali delicacies when one is away from Bengal since years now. But then, if you are lucky enough to find a place like this in the NCR region, where restaurants fondly serve typical North Indian cuisine and there’s hardly any room for the Bong taste buds, you’re almost hitched for life. Literally!
The ambiance is decent and ideal for a family dinner, especially with those tables mainly designed for more than 2 people mostly, much unlike other restaurants.The staff is well- trained and knows the exact terms for the dishes, the true Bong way.
My personal favourites are kasha mangsho, anarosher chatni and nolen gurer payesh. I just love the jaggery flavour. Well, every Bong does. If you miss the delicacy of your native, this fairly priced food paradise has to be your destination.
