I have had this hikvision security system installed in my house with 4 different cameras working simultaneously for about a year now. The picture quality is like a vga camera but with the new software update I can view a high definition image on the screen with very good clarity. It has good night vision capabilities as well , every thing is clear which can not be even seen sometimes with the human eye. It has a 1 TB hardisk in it which can store upto 15 days of film in it after which it starts deleting the previous data gradually. It keeps on running continuously for days without having any heating issues .
Once in every 15-20 days I switch it off just for the sake of it to cool down but it doesn’t actually require it to be shut down ever. I have actually caught people who have messes with my car or did some mischievous activity outside my house. It is connected to your internet connection so you can access it from anywhere in the world, the only thing required is that the internet router at home should be working and your cellular data should be working on your phone to view it on the hikvision app. Overall, I would recommend this app for people who stay away from their house for many days or for those who leave in the morning and return at night.
