As said film is about admission of a girl of rich parents but low standard background i.e. a shopkeeper of chandnichowk.
The mother of the girl is so modern and wanted her child to be admitted in the best school of the city.
The school has some policy that not only the child but parents shiuld also be very well educated and standard will get admission.
They try their best to gain all these skills by joining a training center. This phase of the movie is in very comic style. The acting by irfan khan is fabulous as he does always. You will not be able to control your laugh at every action of irfan khan.
The plot is great. Story is nice. And the topic is very social and of everyone’s interest.
Thr story somehow makes you think tgat it is or will be your story.
However the story prevails till the end and is the interest.
Next scene is that the parents get to know that their child can be admitted to the school from gareeb quota. But for that they had to act like poors and live in a poor society. The most comic phase of the movie. And each and every action of both the parents will make you laugh at your best and will show very common incidents happen with poor family in slum areas.
