A very nice movie written by Zeenat Khan and Directed b Saket Chaudhary. The film features Irfan Khan and Saba Qamar in the lead role.
In the film Raj Batra(Irfan Khan) is a business man who is running business in Delhi very successfully. he is basically from Chandni Chowk. but the main problem with him is that he is not good in English speaking as well as writing. on the other hand his wife Mita(Saba Qamar) is a little bit good at English and can speak good as compared to that of Raj. They both have studied at Government School and they feel that they studied at government school due to which they are not as good as other so they decided to give admission of their daughter in the best school of Delhi.
They do all their efforts to take admission in the top 5 schools of Delhi
After trying so much they finally decided to take their daughter to Delhi Grammar School which is recognised as the best school of Delhi in the movie.
in the first half, it is shown that what is the situation nowadays with many people regarding the admission of their kids. this is best shown in the first half but as the first half finished in the second half Raj and Mita were not able to get their daughter admission in the school by all ways and means finally they decided to go through Garib Kota
just to have that Garib Kota, Raj did all the wrong ways like fake income proof, fake I D card everything fake and get his daughter admission in that school. they left their beautiful home and shifted to a very poor house as compared to that of their old. This movie shows that how much poor people struggle to get their children to admitted in high school.
Later onn. the Raj realised that they admitted their daughter in that high School by wrongs means
That seat could be given to another needy child and he drop out his daughter and sent her to Government School for further Studies
the performance of Irfan and Saba Qamar is outstanding and other supporting actors did very well
Background music is very very beautiful
In this movie another aspect is shown very beautifully that in reality the students of government schools are more talented that public Schools.
Everyone should watch this movie. Very Very beautiful movie for everyone
