Hindi Medium is a new-age satire on how educated people blindly fall into the trap of todays so-called world class education and indirectly becoming big-ticket business opportunities for such institutions. Irfan Khan and Saba Qamar have pulled off outstanding performances in the film and have been instrumental in getting into the crux of their respective characters.
Deep Dobriyal and Amrita Singh form the major supporting cast of the story and have done full justice to their respective roles. The plot revolves round how educated people turn hypocrites by blindly giving in to the money-making racket put-together by high profile educational institutions and allied businesses who go to any extent to fleece money from the needy.
The time has come to understand education is not a commodity and stop encouraging education as a business opportunity by blindly paying up high costs. After a long time I have come across a story with a moral in Hindi Cinema. Wish this film will be an eye opener for todays parents and create fairness in education.
Great story. Good take-home.
