I have used several anti-roach brands out there, for instance, RAID, Baygon. and I feel that HIT gets the job done and some more.
I would spray the area(floor, not the walls) where Id expect the roaches to roam during the night and close the room till the morning. In the morning, the floor would be a littered withroach-corpses. And these were large-sized roaches. So, it would seem that HIT maintains its lethal affect even if it is not directly sprayed on the roaches.
I dont recommend Raid and Baygon because they dont seem to kill the roaches very quickly. in some cases the roaches were alive the whole night even after being drenched in the spray.
I will not recommend HIT for spiders though. I tried it on a few hairy spiders. had no effect at all. I guess HIT is not designed to work against spiders.
So, HIT is one of the first things that I get whenever I visit India.
