Background: unfortunate owner of 4 HIT-ACH(es)-I ACs amongst which bought one last year and others last to last year.
We have AMC for the each of the 3 older ACs and have submitted a request for servicing 2 ACs with hitachi customer care dated 26 and 27 april 2011 respc but no service was done till 4th may 2011 and then (to our already lost faith) finally on 5th of may the 2 ACs were serviced.
But in between it became my routine to call at there customer care and service center (32220071-the number was always off and the customer care dint had any other number) without fail including shooting the\m mails at there email id. we were always assured by the same dialogues that "maam ur complaint has been forwarded by us on high priority basis".
on 1st may we requested for the servicing of the remaining two ACS also which were serviced later in the second week of may.
CLAIMS/FACTS:
(1) the cost of each AMC is INR3850/-
(2) the customer care claims that our requests nad complaints would be dealt within the 48 hours of registeration of the same from our side
(3) in the AMC contract hitachi assures us that on suo moto basis they will provide us 4 services in an year (fact is that during the year we received single service that too after several complaints, requests by my side).
Conclusion: though our ACs have been serviced but we know how much pain we have gone through to avail the service(the product as well the service is one of the most expensive in the AC industry). Also they did not fulfilled all the claims made by them either by way of contracts or in person by the customer care executives.
seems there is no management in the organisation.I recommend one and all never to buy an HITACHI AC cos the post sales service is the worst.we have whirlpool AC also and within 24 hrs of registeration we received there service also during the year whirlpool ppl called us to give there services.
