I got this hitachi 1.5 ton split ac, follow me model from VijaySales, vikas marg for around 47k last june.
Too expensive if compared to other companies having in mind that Hitachi will do good to its name.
But I was totally wrong, and have been really disappointed by the kind of installation, after sales service
and customtakeouter care.
After the purchase when engineer came to install ac he asked for the installation kit. Which I was not having with me because I did not knew about it and Vijay Sales forgot to give it along with the AC. I rushed to the showroom to grab same to get the installation done on same day. I thought everything will
be fine now but this was just the starting to nightmare.
AC got installed and I was happy about it, and it was working day one. After 3-4 days AC stopped working, reason was it ran out of gas or in other words gas got leaked. After calling customtakeouter care couple of times an engineer came(i dont know if its the right word to use, as I myself is an engineer) and did the refill.
AC started working but lasted for another week and gas got leaked again. Then another engineer came and said installation was not correct and AC need to be reinstalled an dI will have to pay 4k for it. I was surprised why din’t they told me first time and having paid 3k for the first time itself. Any how I got the reinstallation after paying them 4k and it was fine there after since it was already rainy season and ac was not in use anymore.
Then one day just for the testing we started AC and found that swings were not working, again went through rounds of calling to customtakeouter support to get it fixed. So called engineer came and fixed it. There after winters came and AC was not used ever.
Now in march when we started it, again swings were not working. We called up customtakeouter support many time and engineer came, said to us that some part need to be replaced for which we need to pay 2k.(while ac is still in warranty). He went back to get the part and never returned. After calling customtakeouter care again we found out that problem has been resolved already. WTF. We called customtakeouter care again and to my surprise this time they had no record of my all previous complaints. all washed out. I am now chasing customtakeouter care/vijay sales to get this AC workings at least for a month and ordeal is still on.
Bottom line is please do not purchase any Hitachi AC is you are not willing to got through any of the above
