I bought 5 Hitachi Summers(all 5 star/most expensive window ACs in India) in March 2011 but regretting my decision of spending the fortune to a careless Japanese MNC who is just SELLING the products, not the BENEFITS.Common issues:lot of Noise, Display/Electronic Panel problematic(Replacement is around 2000/- plus taxes), low cooling. They don’t provide service for weeks in "Warranty or Non-Warranty Period" even for the inherently lousy product, Then they charge exorbitant prices for changing the defective spare part.
Conclusion:Hitachi Summer is the WORST possible product from any AC manufactures.Top of it, its backed by worst possible services who fail to respond even after a month.
